you reject Jesus as your God and Savior, so there is no salvation in your jesus. You must confess like Thomas that Jesus is your Lord and God. John 20:28. To confess Jesus is Lord is to confess He is YHWH. Romans 10 Paul quotes the O.T. about YHWH and tells us that Lord in Joel is Jesus. He is the Lord who is over all. He is the One Lord, our only Lord as Jude tells us.

John 1:1 says that beginning was the WORD, and the WORD was with GOD, and the WORD was GOD, and the WORD is our Lord Jesus Christ, therefore, our Lord Jesus Christ must be GOD because HE is the WORD!

Why should there need to be? Can you be saved by believing in a false jesus of your own making when the Bible very clearly tells us who He is? That's silly.
Exodus 3:14 And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you.
John 8:58 Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am.
John 13:19 Now I tell you before it come, that, when it is come to pass, ye may believe that I am [he].
The word "he" here is in itallics which means it was added by the translators (they are honest) to make the text more understantable. What Jesus actually says here is "ye may believe that I am."
John 8:24 I said therefore unto you, that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am [he], ye shall die in your sins.
Same here so, yes, you do need to believe that Jesus is God, the I AM. As I said, a false jesus of your own making will not save you. Wake up and quit denying what's right in front of your face.
