There are two kinds of salvation, one is heavenly class and the other is earthly class.
Heavenly class consists of two kinds. They are all called by God but only 144,000 are elect. The rest will be just spiritual beings in heaven. And only 144,000 are immortal. There is still chance to be elect. So it is up to you to run the race but there is condition. those people who are called have to be come out of Babylon. Babylon the great is religious system. RCC is mother of harlots and protestants are her daughters. So if you want to be one of the elect, you have to come out of her first or you will be sharing the same guilt and you will not qualify for the elect.
Those elect are all selected from after Jesus resurrection. None of the Old Testament people will be there not even John the Baptist because he died before Jesus resurrected.
Most of them are from Old testament times and also people who did not have chance to hear Jesus' messages, and also people who were misled by false religious system. They will all ressurected and will have chance to hear Jesus' complete messages. Satan is bounded at this time also. They will have perfect body just like Adam had before he sinned, even though they have perfect body they are not immortal. They can die if they sin just like Adam died.
John the Baptist and other faithful OT time people like Abraham will have special positions among them.
In conclusion,
We know that the door is still open for the race runners because satan is not bound yet. Satan will be bound when Jesus starts to rebuild Jerusalem. This is new earth and new heaven's beginning.
If you want to run the race, you have to come out of Babylon(false religious system) first.
