He was a big deal in OT. Yet Jesus did not mention too much about him positively.
He murdered innocent man for adultery when he was supposed to be a man of God.
We don't see any Christians commit such horrible crimes after they became Jesus' follower after NT.
And there are too many violent prayers expressed in Psalms such as this.
Psalm 28:3-4New International Version (NIV)
3
Do not drag me away with the wicked,
with those who do evil,
who speak cordially with their neighbors
but harbor malice in their hearts.
4
Repay them for their deeds
and for their evil work;
repay them for what their hands have done
and bring back on them what they deserve.
It is no wonder most churches have no qualm about violent faith. They don't see anything wrong with Psalm.
Many Psalms express hate for their enemy. Jesus commands us to love your enemy and bless them who curse you or persecute you. _________________ YHWH is my God and Jesus is my Lord
