Ever since I became Jesus' servant about 11 years ago, I experienced mainstream churches low moral standards. Some denominations are better than the others, their degree of disobedience is not the same.
In a nutshell, mainstream churches' moral standards are low. This includes Catholics and protestants.
I would like to expose what I experienced in my neighborhood. The Bible says to expose the evil deeds of darkness.
A deacon and his family of New Creation Christian Fellowship live across street from my house. One afternoon, his wife came to my house and knocked on the door with some family, asked me accusingly if I dug up banana tress from their yard. I said no and I asked why she is asking such a thing. She went on to say that someone dug up their banana trees and that she has evidence I did it. She yelled and screamed other accusations as well. After they left, I went their yard to see what she is talking about. The two kids from that family told me to leave. I asked to talk their father (deacon), but they refused to let me do so, that I had to talk to their mother. I told them I cannot communicate with her because all she does is yell and scream and does not let me talk.
After this, another woman came to my door saying if I didn't give them two banana trees back to them, they would go to police because they had evidence. I did not know what to say to this woman, because I was just flabbergasted. It is insane the way they came up with such malicious accusations.
The whole thing happened in front of a neighbor family who was outside sitting, and the wife told another neighbor family that I stole their banana trees.
I decided to report this family to their church because this is a deacon's family. Four teenagers and two woman were involved in this.
To make a long story short, they decided I don't have case. They denied that they made an accusation.
It is so sad that church leaders don't seem to care how their deacon's family witnesses to neighbors. The Bible says The deacons (elders) ought to be blameless. Actually all Christian leaders should be blameless according to the Bible.
We are not Christian just because we attend church.
We are Christians if we are striving to be obedient to Jesus by our conduct. _________________ YHWH is my God and Jesus is my Lord
