I already addressed it but I will repeat it again for reminder.
Yes, some cases are divorceable but we still cannot remarry as long as our spouses are alive. We are permitted to remarry only if our spouses are dead, even if we did not cause to divorce.
And I would like to add that the reconcilling with the former spouse is always permitted.
Matthew 5:32
But I tell you that anyone who divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, makes her the victim of adultery, and anyone who marries a divorced woman commits adultery.
1 Corinthians 7:11
But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife.
1 Corinthians 7:39 (New International Version, ©2011)
39 A woman is bound to her husband as long as he lives. But if her husband dies, she is free to marry anyone she wishes, but he must belong to the Lord. _________________ YHWH is my God and Jesus is my Lord |
