Welcome BFSmith to the NR. You are inspiration to all of us for your faith and your polite manner, IMHO. I am not Ronald but he is my fellow nontrine friend and I would like to respond.
I dont recognize your reasoning from the Scriputre. Would you care to show us?
Jesus changed into the former Himself (angel being). All angels are spirit beings like God the Father.

God was manifested does not mean Jesus was God. There is difference.

This verse is explaining the elect. Not all of us will be elect.

Only elect will be spirit like YHWH and Jesus and rest of the angels. The rest of us will still be the same person except we will have perfect body.
